My Passion – Working with Women

For over 20 years, I’ve listened to women’s stories – some from within my family but most from within my private office. Often, these stories are simultaneously tragic yet victorious.

Women are my heroes.

They give and give until there is no more giving. They get hurt; they suffer many times in silence – and then forgive. Women are strong and creative – they move on, cry, get up, and keep walking.

But sometimes, depression or anxiety make the hurt and bitterness stay too long. I admire women because, above all, they never lose hope.

I’ve been there, too.

I’m a woman, as well. I’ve experienced loss and painful events in my own life. I can relate to you – because I’ve done my own inner healing and am committed to continuing to do so.

I believe in the inner wisdom of women. It is my honor to help another woman – to help you.

To help you walk in this life. To support you in becoming the best version of yourself so you can feel content and wholesome in your relationships, motherhood, business, and professions.

A Bit About How I Work

I believe in healing. I believe in the power of healthy relationships. I believe women, given the opportunity to allow their brains to heal, inevitably will become whole.

When we work together, my passion is to integrate attachment-based therapies with brain-based therapies as I listen to you with the most compassionate approach. Our work will set the stage for deep healing and transformation.

I use EMDR and Brainspotting to bring about long-lasting healing from experiences and relationships. Both modalities integrate a body-mind approach as they allow your wonderful and amazing brain to heal.

As you heal, you’ll then have room for a more balanced and healthier perspective and beliefs to continue your journey free from anxiety, depression, and any other negative emotional pain.

I also love to integrate mindfulness and a holistic approach. We’ll discuss meditation, nutrition, and lifestyle changes as part of a sound therapy program. At your request, we’ll also include spiritual practices in your comprehensive plan.
